| Cloud Computing in 2011 |
| If 'Cloud Computing' was a hot topic for discussion in 2010, then it could be said that 2011 will really be the year for cloud implementation to take off. Citrix recently did a survey on how people will work in 2011; one thing was very clear - being mobile and working outside the office has become very important. Some other key findings from this survey demonstrate that being able to swap between devices (pc, phone, tablet, etc.) is becoming a significant requirement. More than 80% of those surveyed saw the inherent value in cloud computing, while nearly 40% responded that they are already accessing applications from the cloud on a daily basis. |
